Shades of Blue, would be the title of this ring if it was a painting. Its Friday and South Bay Jewelry just finished its concept sketches and received approval on the image attached below. The stones are incredible in person. Brian Carpenter the head of all operations and CAD designer Celso Arcega decided on the concepts and were probable that this one would grace our clients hand. Here is an early peak at a very important design. The stone was custom cut from rough per the clients request and will be set in black rhodium with fancy gray diamonds. The sketch was done by Brian Carpenter who heads up the custom design team at South Bay Jewelry.

First off this is one of South Bay Jewelry’s forward thinking designs that was requested by a client wanting something that no one else has done. The mounting is set with over 56 princess cut black diamonds mounted in a black rhodium gold mounting and holds a 4 carat beautiful round diamond.

Okay, hold the phones. South Bay Jewelry is working on its third Sapphire and diamonds engagement ring this week. Maybe Its a new trend? Talk about a very special stone and project. How about a 22 carat Natural Sapphire? Brian Carpenter and South Bay Jewelry have jsut began the concept process and had to share. The mounting will carry 16 quarter carat oval brilliant diamonds which will be E-F color and VS clarity. The mounting will also have between 56 to 74 depending on the concept chosen of small round brilliant diamonds bright-cut set in an antiqued white gold mounting.

Here comes the sun, or at least that probably what you would think when you see this ring in person. This ring boast a 5.5 carat oval diamond bezel set and over 2 carats of fancy pinkish diamonds in a knock down style. There is plenty of detail from top to bottom. Top view has a double halo with over 60 diamonds surrounding the center stone. Underneath the halo displays an intricate display of knockdown pave’.
South Bay Jewelry has been given the pleasure of designing a diamond mounting for one of our clients exquisite stones. The mounting is being sketch rendered and designed By Brian Carpenter of Orange County. The mounting concepts for a stone like this are endless, But South Bay Jewelry and Brian Carpenter were up to the task. Look at these sketch renderings and concept sketches. The mounting will likely hold around one carat of gorgeous transitional cut round diamonds in a white gold mounting.
Sapphires are seen in many colors, most famously known for their rich blue hue. South Bay Jewelry is involved in a very special project. Four carats sounds big. That’s because it is. This beautiful 3.5 carat cool colored radiant diamond is accented by 1.2 carats of pure white pave diamonds. The combination is breath taking. Its amazing when you look at a piece that is around a century old. South Bay Jewelry recently came across something too good to pass up. This beautiful art nouveau sapphire ring is impeccable. The center boast a natural unheated emerald cut pink sapphire which radiates from the over one carat of euro cut round diamonds set in platinum. The photos and video does not do this piece justice.
